Sony announces price cut for PS Vita and memory cards

PS Vita price cut

Sony today announced a much-needed price cut for the struggling PlayStation Vita. The powerful, yet underachieving handheld will now be sold for the much more attractive price of $199.99 in North America, making it much more comparable to Nintendo’s 3DS.

In addition to the Vita’s price cut, Sony also reduced the price of memory cards. Depending on the size of the memory card, you can now save anywhere from $5 to $20.
