If you’ve visited a Pokéstop in Pokémon GO since its release, odds are you’ve probably collected a Pokémon Egg. These mysterious suckers require you to place the Egg in an Incubator and then walk a specific distance (2 km / 5 km / 10 km) to hatch them. Driving works, but only if you maintain a speed under 20km/h.
Unfortunately, what’s inside of the Egg remains a mystery until hatched; however, the distance it requires you to travel can clue you in on what sort of Pokémon you can expect. As you probably assume, the longer the distance required to travel, the better the Pokémon.
