Nintendo has confirmed that some parts of the 3DS’ online services are suffering from “technical difficulties.” As a result, certain online features, like the eShop, may not be working properly.
3DS owners are able to track the status of Nintendo’s online services, but there doesn’t seem to be any additional updates other than the generic status message.
Meanwhile, Wii U owners are experiencing similar issues with online services. While only some parts of the 3DS’ online services are affected, it appears all of the Wii U’s online features are down.
