Hundreds,a new and stressful puzzle game from Canabalt creator Adam Saltsman and Solipskier co-creator Greg Wohlwend, was released today and is currently available on the App Store for iOS devices.
The concept of the game is simple: touch circles to make them grow a certain numerical amount until you reach a combined total of 100. Though simple in concept, Hundreds looks to provide some seriously challenging gameplay. You see, circles turn red and volatile while being grown and if they collide, it’s game over. It’s that easy…or difficult should I say.
The game, which features 100 different levels, starts easy, but quickly becomes challenging as the screen gets cluttered and opportunities to enlarge circles become increasingly rare.
We’ll have a review up shortly if you don’t want to blindly shell out $2.99. Otherwise you can check out the trailer below and even play a browser-based prototype version on Newgrounds.
Right now Hundreds is on sale for $2.99, but will be raised to $4.99 on January 10th, so it’s best to grab it sometime this week if you’re interested.
