There’s plenty of mystery surrounding the next big update for Clash of Clans. Though it’s presumed to released this month, there’s been no confirmation. Still, given that it’s in the “polishing” phase and that Supercell has started to tease the big feature (boats), it can be assumed it’ll arrive some time in May.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have a solid release date for the update. However, what we do have is a road map now, courtesy of forum moderator LachNessBoatser.
He confirmed that the update will not arrive before Thursday, May 11th. He was quick to point out that this doesn’t necessarily mean the update will arrive on Friday, May 12th either, though he admitted that last part was only speculation.
According to some hidden text spotted by Redditors, LachNess added:
Pure speculation here. 11th of May is a Thursday. I doubt they would release such a big update on Friday before the weekend in case of bugs etc. This means the earliest we could see it is the 15th of May. PURE SPECULATION.
So what does this mean? Basically, the Clash of Clans update will probably arrive sometime this month, but likely in the latter half.
Normally I would say this also means we could get some sneak peeks this week, but LachNess also confirmed that it was “not likely” we will be getting sneak peeks for this update. The only confirmation we have right now is that the update will have something to do with boats.
