Fallout Shelter, the award-winning mobile and (now) PC game based on Bethesda’s incredible Fallout franchise, has received a new update on all platforms. Update 1.7 introduces new Quests, including Weekly and Special Event Quests, as well as a special visit from Bottle and Cappy, the mascots from Fallout 4’s latest add-on, Nuka-World.
The patch notes are pretty vague in terms of the new Quests added, but Bethesda says “a ton” have been added to the Overseer’s Office, which wills end you into the Wasteland on exploration and combat excursions. The exciting new addition, however, are new Quest Types, including Weekly Quests appearing every Friday and Special Event and Holiday Quests which will now be available.
You’ll be able to spend Nuka-Cola Quantum to skip Quests.
Additionally, to celebreate the launch of the Nuka-World add-on for Fallout 4, all Fallout Shelter players will receive their first Special Event Quest: a Nuka-World-themed mission which, once completed, allows Nuka-World mascots Bottle and Cappy to appear in the Vault. Tapping on them while they visit will reward you with Caps and Nuka-Cola Quantum.
And lastly, a bevy of new Objectives await you in the Vault aimed at challenging your Dwellers. These will help you earn additional resources.
Fallout Shelter is available for free on Android and iOS devices as well as PC
